Incubus- Make Yourself

Another one of my favorites, a little older, but still great nonetheless. The entire album is great and is one of those that doesn't take too many listens to begin enjoying.  Incubus is still making music these days and though it isn't as good as the old stuff in my opinion, it's still good music.

Kid CuDi- MANIAC

Today we have Kid CuDi with MANIAC, off the album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager.  This song has the perfect mood for the darkness he is trying to portray in his story-telling album style.  His entire album tells a continuing story from Man on the Moon I.  Both albums are musical and lyrical genius but this song is an example of CuDi taking it up a notch.  The song features Cage, who is an underground rapper with a new album coming out this year.  If you are looking for a new brand of hip-hop, CuDi is your man. Even if you are not a fan of hip hop, his music appeals to other genres as well and is known to some as more alternative than hip hop.  This album is definitely worth it to buy, listen to this song and you'll see why.  Let me know if you like it after you listen!

Florence and the Machine- Cosmic Love

This song by Florence and the Machine is, in a word, cosmic.  The drum beats are intense and her vocals complement them well.   The entire album is incredible actually and you may have heard her new single, The Dog Days Are Over. Great music from an unknown artist. Check it out!

Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On

This new song by Lupe Fiasco is incredible, he is an underground artist that probably won't ever be mainstream because of some of the issues he tackles, (eg. NOT bitches and money) but he is one of the best out there. Check this out and let me know if you like it.
